PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation benefits are only paid for covered reasons. Tour operator cancellation is not a covered reason. Therefore, if your trip is canceled by the tour provider (tour company, host club, airline, FFI, etc,) for any reason, including government shutdown or closed borders because of Covid-19, you will not receive cancellation coverage. Becoming ill with Covid or testing positive before your trip or during your trip is a covered reason and benefits are available.
The Friendship Force Travel Protection Plan is a travel insurance policy for Friendship Force members living in the United States. It is underwritten by Nationwide® and is a non-published, custom policy created specifically for Friendship Force members. You may purchase the Friendship Force Travel Protection Plan for travel on Friendship Force programs and for your own personal travel.

To get a quote: Please use the drop down menu to find your age category and then enter your total trip cost in the field provided. When calculating the trip cost, please include all pre-paid, non-refundable items per person. This includes FFI fees, host fees, international and domestic flights, ground transportation, lodging, etc. Do not include the cost of the insurance premium, the cost of your passport or travel visas, or immunizations for travel when calculating your trip cost. You may also use this form to purchase additional coverage for your trip if your trip cost increases after your initial purchase of the FF Travel Protection Plan.
Please note: the pre-existing medical condition exclusion will be waived as long as the protection plan is purchased within 15 days of initial trip deposit. Once we receive your payment, your Confirmation of Coverage will be emailed to you.
